Larry’s Rants

Daily personal development is a great thing! It is critical to your success. If you talk to any successful person, they will tell you that who they have BECOME along the journey is just as important to them as the success they have achieved. Each and every one of them I would venture to say has done a committed program of personal development. For some, it’s attending expensive seminars, or getting personal coaching. For others it could be as simple as buying fifty cent books at the used book store that were devoured each time with full fervor. The point is, personal development is individual, and PERSONAL. It’s YOURS. Nobody can ever take it away from you.

You can build your own fantastic library in your home of all the volumes of wonderful books that stirred your soul, mind and heart. This is what we have done, and we cherish it greatly. What we cherish even more is what we have done with the information from inside the books. We can point to specific books and tell you how that information touched us, and how we applied it in our lives. A good example is Bob Proctor’s You Were Born Rich, in which he teaches the principles of seeing your goals and dreams, and making them REAL. No other book has been applied more in our lives, and given us more fuel to go for what we want and the BELIEF that we CAN TRULY HAVE ANYTHING.

Another example is the book Think and Grow Rich, in which Napoleon Hill talks about writing your goal on a card and carrying it around with you. We have both manifested many dreams with this simple tool alone…but not by wishing… by Seeing, Believing, and DOING! This is the distinction. You have to do your part, then let the Universe do the rest.

It is only in the application of personal development that we grow. These books do us absolutely no good on the shelf!! So ask yourself if you are simply reading and listening to the material, or really using it in your life. Watch what happens!!

Does Your Personal Development Library SHOW in Your LIFE?

Who invented these terms “old school and new school” ? Marketing has always been the same since the beginning of time. The only thing that ever changes is the medium of how the information is delivered. I think one of the problems is that we as a society tend to want everything yesterday and we don’t want to “pay the price” so along comes the idea of a “new way of marketing” and we all think we are going to get rich and have to work less…… NOT True !

If we can apply the speed of building a relationship using the “new school” tools and then transition them to a real time connectivity, person to person again using the new tools, (skype, facebook, twitter etc.) then you have the best of both worlds. If on the other hand you try and make the internet do all the work for you and think you don’t have to build, and develop relationships you are going to be disappointed

Laura and I are amongst the first to be lucky enough to be part of “both of these worlds” and it can be a blessing to us or a curse depending on how we use it. Lets enjoy the lessons of success in this new millennium. We are excited to part of this important gathering of like minded leaders.

This may not be a blog post that optimizes great on Google, because all the search terms are perfectly researched and scoped out. But the message is clear. Larry is talking ! As many of you who have been syndicating and following our blog have most obviously noticed, (and to be as transparent as possible), Larry has not been participating in the “online” portion of our business!!He will tell you that he has been “offline” participating in Revenue Generating Activities.

The attraction marketing concept and personal branding has been missing a BIG personality…and there has been some major reasons for this. As stated in the previous post, Larry has been a traditional Network Marketer for a very long time, and has preferred to keep it that way!  He will tell you all about it…STAY TUNED IN. You will learn! It was out of pure pressure that we got him to do this video!!

.

He is a MASTER MARKETER. Larry believes the BASICS are the BASICS and can be done when a master marketer is dropped into any city, with only the shirt on their back.  Watch and learn friends..this first video is simply an introduction. There will be much more to come very soon. Though you all know I am extremely prejudice (an rightly so!) I will tell you that Larry is my mentor and taught me how to do this business back when I was a scared housewife, determined to figure it out. He threw me in the cold water, and taught me to swim “the hard way” and I became a master marketer very quickly. If you want to learn…hang in there!

LarryMorrisLarry has been in Sales and Marketing since he was 8 years old, and the rest he is very modest about “self promoting”. ( hint: tune in to find out why he has not been eagerly all over Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube, talking about himself) He’s about Six foot four inches and one of those very distinguished types. When he walks into the room, people turn around and say “All is well…We can start, Larry’s here.” He is reassuring and commanding, while at the same time he makes everyone feel cared about,  and edified.

Larry NEVER minces words. If he has something to say….he just comes out and SAYS IT. You know exactly where you stand at all times with the guy. This can be a good thing, because, if you are his student and he has had thousands over the years, you progress quickly. If you are not progressing, he lets you know what needs to be changed, and you MOVE. You MOVE right or you move left, but if you are under his tuteledge you keep progressing forward to success.

Failure is not an option for this man. He cares very deeply about the success of his people, and will do just about anything to make himself available, night or day, crazy hours whatever, to see that you get the help that you need. Sometimes I see him out of the corner of my eye with two or three phones coming out of his ear, but he is patiently taking care of everyone. That’s just how he rolls.

So you might have noticed that here at LarryandLauraMorris.com it’s been mostly Laura, with brief glimpses, of Larry. Where has he been you might ask? Has it been a little noticable? I am just asking? Larry is getting ready to answer all of those questions and many more. He has much to share and I don’t profess to share a word of it for him. He is far too GREAT to have to do any of that. So….stay tuned everyone…

The perverbial “man behind the curtain” is coming out ! His voice will be heard, and he probably will not be able to be quieted! What is he going to talk about first? I will give you a hint. He has some VERY STRONG FEELINGS about the “the state” of our industry. So no…Larry is not a ghost or a sock puppet. He is very real, and the world will see just how fabulous my husband is momentarily. Many, many who already know will be watching too.

Please be standing by to comment and “share some love” for Larry.
