Tapping Into The Power of Your Mind

by lmorris

My mind is a center of divine operation.  The divine operation is always for expansion and further expression and that means the production of something beyond what has gone before, something entirely new, not included in past experience though proceeding out of it by an orderly sequence of events.  Therefore, since the Divine cannot change its inherent nature it must operate in the same manner in me.  Consequently, in my special world, of which I am the center, it will move forward to produce new conditions, always in advance of any that have gone before. By Thomas Troward

A dear friend shared the previous statement with Larry and I recently. He says that he reads it every morning and has been able to manifest almost everything he desires and beyond his wildest dreams. He is very successful in every area of his life and he credits The Law Of Attraction and the book: The Science of Getting Rich. Take in the words and perhaps even jot down what they mean to you. If it hits you the way it hit me, it will forever alter your life for good. If you have something to offer as a comment please share with our readers, as it will expand the gift of this statement. If you like this statement please syndicate it so others can be impacted as much as we are!

What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lives within us.

Henry David Thoreau

I found this picture of this iceberg, and it made me think about our vast potential. Ask yourself, honestly, Am I living up to my potential? Am I keeping my word to myself? What would my life look like if I began to capture what was below the surface, in the POWER OF MY MIND? Taking an honest self evaluation every quarter (and we are just starting the last one of the 2010) is very productive for not only yourself, but it can be very productive to get together with your team, and even family and go over expectations and goals for the end of the year together. One thing is certain. We can all GROW BEYOND OUR WILDEST DREAMS…and SET OUR GOALS MUCH HIGHER. There are millions of wonderful words in the english language, and there are those time when we read a piece so moving… when someone will put words together in such a way that they are so perfect, not much more needs to be said. They stand on their own for their beauty, depth and wisdom. The statement at the top of this post is such a statement, as are the following from The Science of Getting Rich:

Hi Larry & Laura,

I love this article! I’m reading Napolean Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” and I am enjoying it so much. I am fairly new to the network marketing industry but so excited about all the wonderful people I have met and all that I’ve learned already. Thank you for posting this article. I especially like the picture of the iceberg under water and how true that is for so many of us. I have this book on my wish list and plan on reading it as soon as I finish “Think and Grow Rich.”

God Bless,
Trish Kirby

We must always move forward and create “new conditions”. This is the only way to expand our boundaries beyond our past, and become productive.

Interesting post, Laura, and thanks for the summary of the Science of Getting Rich. Good stuff!

Hi Larry & Laura,
I loved the focus and truth of your post here. The power of our mind and all that is within us is a vital piece of information that we all need to realize, appreciate and use. It is certainly not something we learn in school and for me, I’ve just started to learn this truth over the last few years. So wish I had come across it so much sooner but better late than never.
I just recently read Wallace Wattles The Science of Getting Rich and I loved it. I was given the audio book as well and now can listen to it as well. It makes so much sense and give so much encouragement and excitement to what each of us can accomplish as long as we are truly grateful for what we already have been given. It fits so well with the Law of Attraction as well!
Thanks for choosing this truth of the power of your mind to be the focus of your post.

See you in Tribe Domination. Let us know how we can make it work for you!

The statement, “Therefore, since the Divine cannot change its inherent nature it must operate in the same manner in me. ” tells me that I can be sure and certain of the process. Then I must depend on this and follow what The Science of Rich video says. It is not about me being a guru or expert but believe these words. Larry and Laura thanks so much for this post, especially the video.

Hi Laura,
In a world where so much emphasis is placed on success and making things happen, it is so easy to forget that everything comes from within. I know my life is very blessed, and as my power to manifest grows, it is extraordinary how fast life circumstances change!

These days, when if I forget to be grateful and accept abundance, it disappears FAST, and when I get back into alignment with my spirit magically the phone rings, and business booms! It isn’t the GFC, the economy, or the banks that take our dreams away. the source is much closer to home.

I remember when I first read this book, it made a profound difference to my attitude to life. Everyone should read it, over and over! Yes, we all have much to be grateful for. Sometimes you have to dig a little deeper to realize it, and when you focus on gratitude and empowering others, not on what you want, it all comes to you magically! Let’s all focus on what we have rather than what we want and visualize what we have as the life we desire! After all the life we live now is the one we asked for in the past.

Laura, hello,

Such great questions to ask myself – Am I living up to my potential?

I love your idea of doing a re-evaluation every quarter. I do believe I am so powerful, and it’s my choice how I channel that power: positively or negatively. It requires awareness and determination, and big dreams.

The picture of the iceberg is perfect :)

Thanks for your inspiration,
Tricia.

Great information about the power of the mind. The understanding and potential of the mind has been grossly underutilised. This drives home a powerful insight. Thanks. Enomfon

Laura,
Such a true statement about not tapping into the full potential of our minds. The power to create is and always will reside within us. Tapping into that source can empower you to soar! But there is the little thing of taking action. LOL Nothing is handed to you without some creation on your part.
The Law of Attraction says it all when utilized in the correct mindset. Totally agree,
Val ;)

Laura and Larry:

Thank you. I love articles of this nature and have been studying the Laws of Attraction and Reciprocity for several years. I THINK I’m beginning to understand a bit. Not that I don’t consciously get it, but retraining my subconscious has been (and continues to be) quite a process.

I just watched Sue and Steve’s video on the 8 steps of building a business. The first step is Make a Bold Statement. I think that’s one of the things that I’ve not really done because it’s easier not to make a statement than to make it and not keep a commitment to myself. Well, phooey on that! It’s time to step up, make a bold statement, and then keep that commitment.

I think I needed your post as the final “kick in the tail” that I needed to get going. Thank you!!

Live with passion and purpose,
Vanessa
